you know i followed this forum for months before i decided to join ,it seemed like there was some helpful people yet no question or inquiry has ever been answered granted i asked quite a few questions no less then lame! but after reading amek tacs manual on the mixer, in question? it only left more questions. ive never seen such dodgy nomenclature on mixing is what is on those pages and as amek has no support for these boat anchors and there is little to none here i bid all you experts a salute and farewell . any other forum i have joined for guitars amps effects has been great experience i thank you all who tried to help .. i guess you have to be a seasoned technician to get any benefit from being a member here as no one answers any of my posts or suggest different ways to go about debugging these things hopefully tape op or one of the other user groups wont be so difficult to get through .any how thanks to you who made an effort to at least communicate with me on this there does not seem to be any interest here in helping someone new to large format consoles get sorted . all the best! the experience has been underwhelming to say the least!

I tried hard to find out what an ESM32 and an ESM32R is? There is nothing on google.... Maybe a photo or more information on what it is, would be helpful in trading....

Hi
These public forums work on a system of 'give and take'. A quick look at the contributions by 'the last analog holdout' are simply 'take and take' and then as no one seems to have answered all this questions there is a rant about poorly written manuals and his inability to understand things.
There will be documentation on the ESM32 in a dusty cupboard somewhere however the original files were 'bought' by Harman about 10 years ago along with the factory and having obtained AMEK they decided to close it and practically all documentation was pulped in the trash bin. Had I not left AMEK a couple of years before it's closure I might have saved some of the documentation.
This forum has several contributors who have a great knowledge about the various desks and they are generous enough to assist. There are also others who are so 'pro American/ hate everyone / everything else because they are not American' that it is embarrassing.
I come onto this forum out of interest in what is going on but I have to work elsewhere to get paid so that I can have the 'luxury' of spending time on the computer.

I must admit I'm here to get help on my desk and have found much. But I have not offered help or advice as i have very little to give. I do hope as time goes on I will get to know some of your names and maybe get involved in the conversations.

Ive had great luck and advise from many users on this forum... I feel like ive only gone about it from a take take aspect also, but i HOPE to GIVE back soon. Im in the process of moving my studio from texas to Los Angeles and will be putting my BIG 44 to good use, of course once i get it up and running fully! ;-)
Thanks for all the help everyone has offered!
