You 100% want to contact Collin at http://www.audiomaintenance.com/ - he has a spreadsheet you can input the amount of channels you have and get them from - excellent people and extremely knowledgeable!

I had a scorpion I 24/16/2, have since moved on.. still have a bunch of modules. What do you have, I assume you're recapping the entire thing? If you didn't know, start with the psu and the master strip, that will be very telling to note differences between recapped modules vs. older modules..

Yes I have a 16/8x8/2 will start with the master as I got a brand new power supply from Blue dog on Ebay as the desk didn’t have one when I bought it! It was a bit of a gamble fortunately it paid off I got 6 modded s1000 from a guy in Belgium but they now only have line input and there is some noise on them but haven’t done any more than completely strip and clean everything and repair some of the broken pots as at the time I was also renovating a UHER reel to reel which has turned out perfect it’s 4 track so thought might use it for an analogue master to give a final mix some tape saturation etc.
I have emailed AML regarding the caps and may put in some of the Langley mods so thanks for the advice.
I plan to have a hybrid system so I can record thru the Tac and into my daw and also so I can do the reverse. I have purchased an octopre and have connected it via Adat to my Safire liquid 56 as my desk is not in the same studio as the ls56 I have converted Adat to Cat5 and works a treat.
