Hello All,

I am in seach of ANY technical information on the Harrison Series10 and 10B.

If you have some technical experience on installation, maintenance, parts sources, upgrades ( ? ) with this console, I would appreciate a lot to know of it.

Many thanks for your help.
Best regards,

What information in particular are you looking for?
My experience is limited, but there may be something I can answer.

Series 10

Postby Guy4 » Fri Dec 15, 2006 10:48 am

Hi Gareth,

I am interested to know from people with experience of the installation ( grounding, power supplies, patchbays...?? ) and maintenance ( what's breaking, EPROM's pb, parts sources...?? ) of the Harrison Series10.

Does Harrisson still support these old beasts for spare parts ( I doubt on that ! ), or are they helpful ?

Thanks for your help.

Best,

Guy

I have owned a Series 10B. Great sounding console and easy to use.

To answer your questions:
Power Supply
There's three or four big racks. You should have 2x10A for it.

Patchbay
Mine had standard 96 Bantam patchbays. Every in & out went thru the patch

Maintenance
The only problem I had was some faulty switches in the center section. Everything
else worked fine. Harrison do still support these consoles. Just send the faulty channels or panel to them and they will fix it.
As a matter of fact, I think they have a used Series 10B for sale.

You should buy an extra old Mac just to have some spares if the computer breaks down.

Cheers,
Lindell
