Yamaha MC 2404

Postby chadstrung » Thu Mar 05, 2009 11:57 am

I'm looking at buying this board from someone off of Craigslist. A couple of channels don't work. he wants $50 bucks. What would you do? Would you think if 3 channels don't work, then maybe more stuff is wrong with it? How old is this board anyways? It must need some cleaning out, is it even worth $50? Some of the wood on the sides is messed up, and all of the slider knobs are gone. I'm just wondering if you all out there think that this board has been too abused to be worth it. thanks.
Here's the craigslist post:

thanks everyone!

What do you expect for 50 bucks? Look at it. Nobody cared about this desk through it´s lifetime, so why should it be in good working condition. If you want headache then buy it. You can spent 10x the price in spareparts and still only have a Yamaha 2404 with the next issue waiting around the corner for you.
If you want to learn to resore a desk then get it, if you you want to use it with least possible trouble then get something else.
