600 series pots

Postby mikethebike » Fri Aug 21, 2009 3:30 pm

Hi again All

Does anyone know where I can get replacement pots for the 600 series channel cards?

The one in particular is the channel gain pot which is a 5K lin that mounts on the pcb. The problem in not really in getting a 5K pcb mounting pot, its getting one that has the support brackets as well to stop it bending during use. Otherwise, the solution is to get one with a panel mounting nut which is a bit of an eyesore.

Any ideas? -

Got any spares anyone?

Porkyc ?

Thanks

Mike

You might try:

http://www.potentiometers.com/

...since they can build up "Clarostat" pots to order. However, for a one-off, it is likely pricey.

Hi Mike,
There is a series of pots from BOURNS that are really small, and perfect replacement for your level pot.
It screws with a nut on the front panel, then you can solder short wires to the pcb

Référence Mouser: 652-PTD901-2015KB502 ( linear )
Référence du fabricant: PTD901-2015K-B502
Fabricant: Bourns
Description : Potentiomètres 5K AUDIO

They cost around €1,5 each.... :-)
Good luck !
