yellow relay

In the late 70's, over half of the records in Billboard's Top 200 were recorded and/or mixed using MCI equipment.

hmm weird i thought i posted...anyways

i've done a quick search a while ago for those relays as well, i'm sure SOMEONE will manufature some type thats compatible but finding NOS can be a real pain..in 2 of my channels replacements were used but even they werent manufactured anymore , are you talking about the smaller ones or the big one near the VCA board, i'm also curious what other 500 users may have found to deal with this problem.

cheers mell

http://www.reed-relays.com/1642500.html thats the one! part #20-1241-30 manufactured by US Relays and Technology.

Can be purchased here: http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSea ... me=Z646-ND

however the price break is 80, the other option is contacting US Relays directly, they sell smaller quantities if you want.

Heres the e-mail: USRELAYSW@aol.com and the phone number: (909) 902-5112

I used to use relays made by Sigma. Do not know if they are still in business. Their elay was an exact drop in. Have not used any since early 80's.
