Sony MXP 4 band LC Equalizer

In the late 70's, over half of the records in Billboard's Top 200 were recorded and/or mixed using MCI equipment.

Sony MXP 4 band LC Equalizer

I have one 4 band LC equalizer for sale. I bought it from AEA who guaranteed it to be in good working order. Never got around to hooking it up. It uses 2ea. NE5532 dual opamps & is the MCI interpretation of a pultec EQ.

I had incorrectly identified it as belonging to an MCI 600; thanks for the correction.

Asking $99-. <eandwsvcs@embarqmail.com>

this is for the sony mxp console? the modular eq card? I dont know that the 600 had an LC eq.

Please update this if you sell it. I might be interested, but not for a while.

You are right. It will be from an MXP 3K. The 600 had option EQs normal/parametric, but they were not modular or pluggable. You ordered the modules to suit.
