S Series info and/or manuals

Postby JWB » Sat Dec 12, 2009 5:01 pm

I just bought a Calrec S Series in an auction.
24 mono, 24 st, 8 bus, 2 masters.
I'm very excited, but I've only seen a picture.
Does anybody have info or manuals of this console?
Whas there a model before the S2 (probably S1).
I can't find anything about it.

The console types are S and S2.

Although these consoles comprise of a lot of standard modules, there is usually a degree of customisation for each console. Calrec keep records of each console made and its exact customisations. This is important when requesting manuals. To be able to work out the specific customisation & module data to provide, Calrec will need your serial number, which is on a plate or label. It will either be on the back of the console (you will need to remove the rear panels), or on one of the bulkhead panels in the fader bed (you will need to remove faders to see it).
