Hi Matt.. Thanks for the advice. I'm sorry for hi jacking this thread too. I'll should start my own.. Bad me!!! :evil:
I'll be keeping a keen eye and nose on all thats happening Tuesday.
I'm SOOooo eager for the day to come!!!

Further to Matt's advice, you could first of all run up the power supplies for an hour or two before plugging them into the console. I expect that you have ZN1997 and ZN1998 PSUs.

For the PSUs, follow Matt's advice on listening for popping caps, sniffing for heat & smoke etc.

Measure the voltages on the outputs of the PSUs before connecting them to the console.
Measure again at the console power distribution strips once the whole system is powered up.
