New site dedicated to Soundcraft 3200s!

Postby drybones » Wed Jul 02, 2014 3:20 pm

Hey all of you Soundcraft 3200 fans! I've registered a domain name and started a website dedicated to Soundcraft 3200s.

http://www.soundcraft3200.org

Primary purpose will be mutual support, tech suggestions, schematics, manuals (I've been working on the original DRAFT from he Soundcraft site) and anything else we can get away with without Mother Soundcraft and Father Harman getting too upset. I also plan to have lots of 3200 porn from studios around the world.

Now the site is only 2 hours old, so give me a freakin' break! But if you are a 3200 owner, use the contact page to introduce yourself. So far Paul Viguier in France, and my dear friend, Jose Alberto Chamorro Capilla in Spain are involved. Let's flush out the 3200 community!

I will also reference our esteemed forum host, Gareth Connor and his former design partner, Douglas Self. BTW, if you haven't seen it, google Douglas Self's book on "Small Signal Audio Design." Most of the circuitry was used by Gareth and Douglas in the 3200. The section on mic pre's is spot on!

I will always try to credit references and will provide web links when I can. I want to consolidate the knowledge, but give credit where credit is due.

Thanks all!

Ric,

Yeah! Thanks! Post your URL and I will reference your site as well. Too much data is never enough!

Nothing there about the Soundcraft 3200. Just a redirect to Dry Bones Studio. ???

Yes, AnalogStudio7 is correct. I was using GoDaddy and they had serious limits on how many things I could post. So I move to Facebook where everyone can post:

https://www.facebook.com/soundcraft3200?_rdr=p

I am resurrecting http://www.soundcraft3200.org at google, but it will just be a site that keeps tech data like schematics and geeking stuff.

Cheers,
