Delta 8 Peak Light Stuck On

Postby robertphilbeck » Sat Mar 14, 2015 1:16 pm

I have a D214 Delta 8 Input Module with a Peak light that is stuck "on". Close examination of the circuit board reveals nothing other than a cheesy solder job at R7. Other than that all looks well.

Any obvious or typical fixes for this issue?

Lift up one leg of C27. If it is still lit, check/replace C28 and TR3 and TR4. If it goes out, check the opamps in the signal path for problems.

Thank you. I finally got around to this over the weekend. It was the number 1 opamps and all is working well. Hopefully this will be helpful to someone with a similar issue.
