Any thoughts on Oram?

I came across a Trident/oram console. Just wondering if they're worth checking into further? Anyone on here have any experience with them. The console I was looking at was a trident but apparently the model had been taken over by oram.

Since it is non-modular, I would be interested/concerned how the "innards" are constructed. For instance, the Mackie mixers are a royal PTA to service.

The models I've seen in the past were all surface mount construction. As I remember they advertised surface mount as a superior product design over older through hole designs.

Replacing a thousand surface mount electrolytic caps or burned up opamps would not be enjoyable.
