found an ebay seller with the correct pot for TSM mic pres. dual 100k linear, Clarostat. not inexpensive, but its a source. Cure the crunchy blues.

listed as $22, but he has gone down to $11 for bulk orders.

408's are nice pots, but do they fit properly and use the old knobs? 100k linear for gain set? I thought they were dual log pots as used on the 80B and Flexmix. Linear pots would get very crowded at the end of rotation.

nope, fit exactly correctly, including the shaft.

the TSM is, shall we say, different? than most, and linear is correct.
