Fleximix Joint PCB

Postby staubgold » Fri Nov 08, 2013 9:58 am

Hello,

I'm in the process of restoring 2 Fleximix consoles that I've just acquiered.
Each frame has been modified for outboard PSU's and now that I have to stick the frames together with a homemade PCB I wonder if it's good to connect the power buses from one frame to another? I'd like to see the original PCB joint to see if all 24 traces connect.
Thinking I would take no risk I decided to cut traces 18, 19, 20 on the pcb I made so current should not pass but the 0 (because it's taken on the earth of the frames and now they're stuck together) still transit.

What should I do?
