D&R Orion & Tascam MSR-24 Problem

Postby Voodoosound » Tue Mar 06, 2018 7:52 am

Hello,

Perhaps someone here can help me with this issue.

I just hooked up my Tascam MSR-24 to a D&R Orion-X desk.
It all works but the recording levels of the Orion are too high for the Tascam.
The 2 jumpers in the Orion channels are on -10DB.

I have also tried connecting only hot and ground to the Tascam.

The tape out of the Orion is balanced, the Tascam is unbalanced.

Any idea how to solve this ?

Thanks.
